Dr. Mollie Hope, PT

Doctor of Physical Therapy and Health Coach, founder of Hope First Physical Therapy and Wellness, LLC

Mollie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University School of Medicine in 2015. After graduation, she moved from Durham to Lincoln to complete her neurologic residency training. After completing residency training, she became a board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2018. Mollie has extensive experience working with individuals with neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson Disease, brain injury, vestibular (dizziness) and balance conditions. She is passionate about increasing her clients’ independence and function!

In addition to her neurologic practice, she has a special interest and expertise in helping clients manage other chronic health conditions including fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, Ehlers Danlos, and other persistent pain syndromes. Her personal experience living with psoriatic arthritis and deep understanding of the nervous system informs her approach to pain and fatigue management.

Beyond Mollie’s physical rehabilitation expertise, she is a health coach and wellness instructor. She is dedicated to helping people improve their health and wellbeing across all stages of life. These additional areas of expertise allow her to utilize a wide range of knowledge and methodologies to help clients discover their best health.

Outside of running her practice, Mollie enjoys teaching and is a lab instructor for Creighton University’s physical therapy program. She also founded and operates an online community supporting over 750 women healthcare entrepreneurs. Mollie is a classically trained ballet dancer with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. She continues to dance recreationally. She also enjoys birding, working with her husband on their hydroponic vegetable garden, cheering for the Huskers, and spending time with her very cute dog.
